Monthly Assignment - MAY
The State 4-H Horse Show is right around the corner! This month's assignment is to create and submit a sketch of your routine. The purpose is to begin organizing your ideas and putting your performance on paper before the final show.
Please submit:
Routine Sketch
Create a rough sketch, diagram, or outline of your Specialty Class routine that includes:
Your routine theme or concept
Whether you will perform in-hand, or riding
The layout of your routine in the arena
Obstacles, skills, maneuvers, or patterns you plan to perform
The order in which each activity will occur
Any props you plan to use
Possible music selection(s)
Your sketch can be hand-drawn or created digitally. It does not need to be finalized. The goal is simply to show your current rough plan and thought process.
Remember, the goal of the Class is to tell the story of your horse's journey and progress throughout the Homes for Horses Program. Focus on highlighting your partnership, training accomplishments, and horsemanship.
