A discussion post answering the question of the month will be expected to be submitted by the end of the month here. Your post in the comments will be in response to a question related to an educational video posted at the beginning of the month that participants are required to watch. April Discussion Post For your discussion post this month I will need a "sale ad" to be submitted for a website promotion of our horses. HSNT (Humane Society of North Texas) has graciously agreed to post these to their website, which has huge foot traffic for those looking at adopting a horse! What I will need : 1.Good quality videos 2. Good quality pictures 3. 3-8 sentences of a description of your horse. I will attach links to help you with this task. "How To Write Horse Adoption Listings" + "How to Take Compelling Photos of Adoptable Horses". By no means do you need a professional photographer! Journal entries will be required once a month. These journals will include but are not limited to, updates on his/her horse, challenges, breakthroughs, and goals accomplished. With this journal entry you must write a minimum of 250 words, and include an updated confirmation picture of your horse. Along with the journey entry, please include a 2-5 minute video of any progress that you have made with your horse! Be creative! Feel free to add music, voice overs etc.

Participants will be expected to introduce their horses and themselves by November 30th @ 11:59pm! Please post a picture of you and your new equine partner together!

Office hours - You will be a required to attend a virtual office hour the week after the Meet and Greet. (Wednesday November 9th at 6pm OR Thursday November 10th at 6pm). Subsequent virtual office hours will be offered on an as needed basis. Meeting ID: To be announced!

Here you will find training and handling videos for you and your horse. These videos will encompass nutritional management, overall training, proper care for your horse, and more! These videos will correlate with your monthly discussion post.
