Starting this month, a financial recap prompt will be posted on the 1st of every month. Your response is due by October 31st at 11:59 PM.

Each recap should be a simple bulleted “receipt” listing your expenses (feed, vet, farrier, supplies, boarding, tack, etc.) along with a monthly total at the very end of your post. This exercise is meant to help you track the true costs of horse ownership and build budgeting skills. I recomend you keep a running physical journal or doc/excel document of all your expenses so you can find later on when you have to submit a mid-year & final totals.
